What to Expect
At Glenrock Baptist Church, we strive to do everything to the glory of God. We gather together to bring praise to Christ, not ourselves. We are a congregation of mixed ages in a growing area of downtown Fort Mill. There is no “dress-code.” You will see people in jeans and suits welcoming newcomers dressed similarly.
TIME
We begin our worship service at 10:30am. Before that, we have Bible Study Classes beginning at 9:15am. These classes are offered for any and all ages. We have dedicated classes for kids. Adults are free to choose from several classes working through different material.
Music
The music we sing is a blend of old and new. Our main concern is that the words we sing unite us around the truth of the gospel.
Sermons
Preaching at Glenrock is generally expositional, meaning that it seeks to declare the point of a particular Biblical passage. We typically preach chapter by chapter, verse by verse through books of the Bible. All preaching is driven by the Gospel, the Bible’s main message of God saving sinners through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Sundays
9:15am: Bible Study classes.
10:30am: Worship.
6:00pm: Prayer Service (2nd and 4th Sundays).
FAQ’s
Do you offer childcare/programs for children? Yes! We offer nursery and children’s classes each Sunday. Find our children’s page for further details.
Can I receive biblical counseling at this church? Generally, yes. We live in a particularly challenging time. Our Pastor and other members are happy to meet with and counsel people over a variety of issues: marriage, divorce, the Christian faith, godliness, sin struggles, etc. Feel free to reach out anytime.
